The start of 2018 has seen fibre broadband arrive in many new communities across the country, including Durno in Aberdeenshire, Piperdam in Angus and Pool of Muckhart in Clackmannanshire. Check out the interactive checker on our website to see if your area is among them. If you can get fibre broadband, remember you will need to place an order with the internet service provider of your choice – upgrading isn’t automatic.

Fibre broadband continues to be rolled out across the country, with Linlithgow, Lochee and Mid Calder amongst the latest to benefit from faster broadband in the last few weeks. And as Christmas approaches, our Digital Scotland Superfast Broadband engineers are certainly not slowing down! The team from Openreach are ready to deal with snow, ice, wind or rain to ensure that the programme remains on schedule.
